Modern Edge Metal is a full-service professional shop specializing in architectural, structural, marine, and production fabrication, serving Midcoast Maine and beyond. All Octagram tubs are made to order in the shop with welded marine-grade aluminum. Modern Edge Metal is the first company to manufacture wood fired aluminum hot tubs in the United States, offering durability and craftsmanship that lasts.
Our Name
An Octagram is an eight-sided star with an octagon in the center: symmetrical, balanced, and dynamic. Octagram is a name that merges our love for the celestial with our practical ethos. Our wood fired aluminum hot tub is built in the shape of an octagon, each side providing an ergonomic resting place to relax under the open sky.
